I am a Laban-based movement coach specializing in animal essence movement theories. I approach my training with Laban and Bartenieff fundamentals and follow through with using animal essence theories to help create and define characters from a unique perspective. I believe that by delving into our primal animal instincts and movements, a well-rounded and grounded character can be developed and become a wholly defined being. I also take a somatic approach to helping those who wish to enhance their mind-body connection in order to assist in creating genuine connections with not just their scene partners, but those in their personal worlds. The ability to create an emotional, personal, and genuine connection with another living being solely through body language and movement is profound to me and it thrills me to be able to help those who wish to experience that themselves.
I am currently pursing my post-graduate degree with Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies to become a Certified Laban Movement Analyst and will be graduating in June of 2022.
I received a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Illinois Wesleyan University with a focus in the
Laban Movement Analysis and animal essence theories.
